Hello, Ninjas!

Who's ready for our 2nd annual B&B 21-Day Abs & Ass Challenge?

For the next 21 days we'll be adding our A&A Challenge to our regularly scheduled workouts. Each day you'll have an ab exercise, followed by an ass exercise and then a 90 second burnout. Yep, you heard that correctly - 90 seconds!

So let's talk about your burnouts. Week one will be an abs burnout. You'll have mountain climber burpees (with 8 mountain climbers after the push-up). Week two is your ass burnout and you'll be doing step ups. Grab a bench, a chair, a step, a stair, or a box to execute these. Nothing to step on? No biggie! Replace the step with walking lunges. Your week three burnout is a combo of abs and ass moves. You'll perform an oblique crunch & squat thrust & squat jump combo. So much fun, right!?

As always please feel free to modify any exercises and make sure to watch your challenge video!

But we're not done yet. Of course we added a little surprise for you. On days 7, 14 and 21 you'll have a "choose your own adventure" tabata. You'll take your favorite ab move and your favorite ass move from the week and combine them into a 4 minute tabata. What's a tabata? 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest. Repeat that 8 times alternating between your chosen abs and ass exercise. This challenge is full of spice!

When you look at the calendar you'll notice that FGN really planned this challenge with a lot of intention. Our goal is always to protect you and make sure that you are getting the most out of your workouts. We don't just throw these together on a whim. These challenges are strategic and made to benefit your body and your mind. There's a method to the madness! In weeks one and two you will be alternating day to day between plank and supine positions. Oh, and in case you didn't see this coming... week three is an all standing series! We know you love standing ab work!
